Luke Engele, PFP

Associate Advisor/Financial Planner
Investment Representative

Luke grew up in Carmel, a very small town near Humboldt, SK. He helped his dad with farming and fixing things as they broke down. He briefly lived in Central Alberta, but returned to Humboldt to finish up high school. Luke then made the move to live in Saskatoon to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Economics. After finishing school, he joined with RBC in 2013 as an account manager and teller, and quickly gravitated towards investing and financial planning. After 5 years he took a financial planning position back in Humboldt to be closer to home, but he missed Saskatoon. He completed the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation before choosing to move back to Saskatoon and working for Scotiabank and then National Bank.  With wanting to focus more on investing and planning, he made the decision to join Jen working for Seed to Shade Wealth Inc. and expand on offering full financial planning services.

Luke spends much of his spare time and money on vehicles and anything with a motor. He owns and operates a licenced vehicle dealership that helps fund this hobby, and his massive collection of 90s items and antiques. Luke also enjoys tinkering with old electronics and video games, watching movies, traveling, swimming/scuba, concerts, reading, creative writing, sleeping in, and helping friends and family.

Luke looks forward to being part of a team that is dedicated to helping people achieve financial success and do what they really want in life. He is passionate about educating clients on how investing works and applies to them, reviewing product comparisons, and helping understand cash flow and retirement needs. Luke is excited to help clients with their investment, insurance, and planning goals.

Support team

Carol and Cecilia help us manage the intense amount of paperwork (now vastly electronic based), files, filing, compliance, organization, communication, planning, and service that we aim to meet each week. Our goal is to have a team our clients can have confidence in, to continue helping them shape and meet their goals and needs.

Carol Lazaro

Advisor Support Associate
Marketing

Carol is originally from the Philippines and moved to Canada through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, with her husband and daughters in August 2010.  She achieved her Political Science degree in 1996 and Bachelor of Law degree in 2001. Before migrating to Canada she spent 13 years working in executive admin positions for her city’s utility company. She started a receptionist position with Saskatoon Great West Life in 2011, and with her education, experience, and further learning, transitioned through the various channels to now providing advisor support.

Carol has been working with Jen since 2018, and provides full time advisor admin support to clients and Seed to Shade Wealth Inc. Her diligence, organization, and knowledge help Jen and Luke meet the investment, insurance and planning needs of our clients. She puts her whole heart in and enjoys her role in the Seed to Shade Wealth team, providing a wonderful client experience.

Outside of work, Carol enjoys gardening and travelling with family. She loves learning new cultures and meeting new people.
